Automate Your Family Finances in Minutes
Upload your monthly CSV or Excel bundle once, map the columns, and let Family Finance Snapshot instantly aggregate income, expenses, investments and property data. Overspend alerts, rent‑due calendar events and a full summary email are generated automatically.
How It Works
Simple 3‑Step Import Process
Upload, map, and let automation handle the rest.
- 1
Upload Your Monthly Files
Admin drags the CSV or Excel bundle into the Import screen; the system instantly reads income, expenses, investments and property data.
- 2
Map Columns & Confirm
Match your spreadsheet columns to Family Finance Snapshot fields; save the mapping for one‑click future imports.
- 3
Let Automation Do the Rest
Totals are aggregated, overspend alerts fire, and rent dates are added to Google/Outlook calendars.

Frequently Asked Questions
Got Questions? We’ve Got Answers
What file format does the import accept?
Both CSV and Excel (.xlsx) files are supported. You can upload a single workbook containing separate sheets for income, expenses, investments and property data.
Do I need to map columns every time?
Map your columns once and save the template. Future imports use the saved mapping automatically.
How are rent reminders sent?
The system reads the rent_due_date column, creates calendar events in your linked Google or Outlook calendar, and sends reminder emails three days before the due date.
Can I set the overspend threshold?
Admins can define any percentage in Settings; when total expenses exceed that share of total income, an alert is triggered instantly.
